Hatice Ceylan Koydemir

Hatice Koydemir is a tenure-track Assistant Professor at Texas A&M University in the Department of Biomedical Engineering. She joined the Bio and Nano-photonics Laboratory at the University of California, Los Angeles as a postdoctoral researcher and was appointed as an Assistant Project Scientist in 2018. In 2021, She joined Texas A&M University as a faculty member.

Hatice is the Director of the Integrated Biomedical Sensing and Imaging Laboratory of Texas A&M University, and her research interests are in the area of integrated devices and machine learning approaches, including mobile microscopes, MEMS-based biosensors, micro-fabrication technologies, and wearables for point-of-care analysis. She has co-authored more than 120 peer-reviewed publications and holds six patent applications with a Google Scholar H-index of 19. She holds a PhD in BioMEMS in Chemical Engineering at Middle East Technical University.
